Curriculum

​North Star Academy’s curriculum is child-centered, innovative, formative and motivating to students. We tailor instruction to meet the needs of the learners and go beyond the traditional boundaries. Our teachers provide expert instruction of foundational skills in the core areas of reading, writing, math, science, technology, and the social sciences. In addition, we guide our students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and cooperative learning skills needed to be competitive in the 21st century through integrated studies and experiential learning activities. Specialty areas include art through guidance classes and service learning projects.
